It was day three in the Freedom tour. We were in Pennsylvania. We had a long bus ride from the two destinations. Today was very hot it was 98 degrees outside. The first thing we did as a group was walk around Philly. The first thing we did was we went to Independence Park and walked a little. We walked through the center mall (the grass). Wile waiting in line to see the Liberty Bell we saw sprinklers in the field and decided to run through them and we got soaked. See now I was smart because, I put my poncho on and ran so my shirt wouldn’t get wet. After getting to see the bell we went walking all over. We went into a old house that had typing machines in it. Our group (while walking) got very hot so we kept going into different museums to get cooled off (they had A.C).  After we did that we went to the Constitution Center. Once we got there we went to the Kimmel Theater. We heard a narration of Freedom Rising. It was Fabulous. The lady that did the narration was very clear when she spoke. After we saw the narration we got to use the interactive learning ‘toys’. My favorite was the one where we got to vote. Once all of that was said and done we left and went to the Amish Country. We went to a farm that was in the middle of a parking lot. We even got a tour. We learned that the girls could never show their ankles. They also have to wear dresses. After we got the tour we got a bus tour and we saw our tour mans old house. Following the tour we got to eat a home cooked a Amish meal/ dinner. It was the best food ever. The best part about the trip was the pool! We had so much fun jumping into the water and hanging out with friends. I loved the pool! Over all, the day was great but hot. Another best part about this trip was that I worked on my tan!
